Calculations and reference content run locally without a user account. This policy covers advertising-enabled releases from 2.3.3 and the prepared 2.4.0 release, including free Basic Calculators, optional session unlocks, Google AdMob, and Google UMP consent controls. Ad loading and rewarded unlocks require connectivity and available ads.

What stays on your device
Engineering calculations, entered values, reference browsing, favorites, language, and appearance preferences are handled locally. E&I PROX does not require a user account. Android may include local preferences in a device backup according to your Android and Google backup settings; the developer does not operate a separate cloud account for this data.

Advertising data
Advertising-enabled releases use Google AdMob. Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance information. IP addresses may be used to estimate approximate location. This processing supports ad delivery, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Entered engineering values are not sent to the developer's server.

Consent and privacy controls
Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used to request and store applicable advertising consent choices. Where required, the app presents a consent form and a privacy-options entry in Settings so you can review or change eligible choices. Advertising requests are made only when the consent SDK reports that they are permitted.

Rewarded access and sessions
Watching a rewarded ad is optional. In release 2.4.0, Basic Calculators are permanently free. One verified reward unlocks all Advanced Calculators for the current process session. Separate optional rewards unlock all engineering references across five categories or all detailed calculation explanations for that session. Each unlock is independent, and opening another item in an unlocked section does not require another reward. Normal results and essential safety information remain available without a reward. Unlock state is kept only in memory, survives normal navigation and temporary backgrounding, and resets after the app process ends or an explicit session exit. If an ad is unavailable or cancelled, no new access is granted; you may retry later or continue with Basic Calculators, results, and safety information.

Permissions and connectivity
Internet and network-state access are used to load advertisements and applicable privacy messages. The app does not request precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, or broad file access. An advertising provider may infer an approximate location from an IP address; the app itself does not request GPS location.

Sharing, retention, and choices
Advertising data is transmitted to and handled by Google under its applicable terms and privacy practices. The developer does not sell your entered engineering values or maintain a user-profile database. Google's retention and deletion practices apply to data processed by its advertising services. You can use in-app privacy options where available, reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings, or use the app's non-ad fallback when offered.
المشاركة والاحتفاظ والاختيارات

Children and engineering safety
E&I PROX is a professional engineering toolkit for engineers, technicians, and specialist students; it is not directed to children. Essential electrical safety warnings and emergency information are never placed behind a rewarded-ad gate. Calculated results are engineering aids and do not replace a qualified engineer, manufacturer instructions, site verification, or applicable codes and regulations.
